Eric and Jacki Kratz would like to send out a big THANK YOU to all of the volunteers that made Vacation Bible School a huge success this year! Many hands are needed to make this program run and we are thankful for all of the support!

Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.  1 Peter 4:10

Join us after service today and checkout the game of PICKLEBALL! Grace is excited to introduce pickleball to our schedule. Today at noon in the All-Purpose Room, come learn how to play or if you already know, help us teach others the game. Pickleball can be played by men and women of all ages, so don’t be shy, and come on out!

To all Verizon email users: please let the Grace church office know of your new email address. We would like to update your contact information! Please email us at office@gracehummelstown.org. Thank you!

Men of Grace, you are welcome to join the Men of Faith to participate in a study called, “Goliath Must Fall: Winning the Battle Against Your Giants” by Louie Giglio. The next meeting date is June 28. We will begin at 6pm in the Focus room. Hope to see you there!

Operation Christmas Child – please help support our church-wide mission to help fill 150 boxes for children in need around the world.  The July items that we are collecting include: craft items (no liquids), sewing kits and fishing kits. Just remember, it has to fit in a shoebox! See the mission table in the narthex for more details.

We would like to make you aware of the Ready-For-School Project at Grace. This is our 17th year sponsoring the project and we need your support to make it a success. There are marginalized families in our community who need our love and support.  The Grace Family has been asked to help 415 students in our surrounding school districts by having their basic school supplies ready and waiting for them the first day of the 2017-2018 school year. You can help us reach our goal by supporting the project with prayer, supplies and monetary donations.  On average, a fully-stocked backpack cost is $40 and when you multiply $40 by the 415 backpacks needed this year, the amount can be overwhelming.  We are able to purchase backpacks and supplies in bulk at a savings, but still need to raise over $10,000 to meet the needs of the schools this year.  We will be accepting donations throughout the summer months to help us reach our goal.  Look for our “Backpack” collection box located in the narthex. We can all share our blessings with others and make a difference in our community. Any questions, contact Tammy Houck at tammyhouck@gracehummelstown.org or 566-2897.
