Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can.“— John Wesley
We need your help.
“We” is the church, the body of Christ, but more specifically Grace UMC. We’ve chosen to be a member of something dynamically, forcefully changing lives within and outside this community.
“Need.” Acts 20:35 says “In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” Are you deeply aware of the needs at Grace?
“Your” is the hardest part of this simple phrase. Sunday mornings can feel like we’re surrounded by specially-equipped saints and super-Christians who clearly have “it” covered; “it” being all the stuff that needs to get done so we can be filled up. But God’s kingdom lacks another option with your unique combination of experiences, talents, resources, learning. There is nobody else on the bench who fits your description. So, have you attached your God-given assembly to a need?
“Help” means God loves even the smallest, positive differences we make. After that, the Holy Spirit will guide and inspire us to new, richer ways of bringing glory to God. Will you choose to help in some new way?
Prayerful consider how you can use what God has given you not just financially but with you time and talents.
Start by taking our using our Spiritual Gifts Study Tool. You can either download it below or use it online

Finally don’t forget to fill out you Commitment Card that you picked up in church or was mailed to you and bring to church Sunday November 23 and join us after the 10:45 service for our Celebration Luncheon to celebrate all we have accomplished this past year and how we are building our efforts for this coming year.
