- Every child is a precious individual, worthy of unconditional love and respect.
- Children recognize their potential when they are offered opportunities for spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth in a safe and loving environment.
- Care outside the home should support but cannot substitute for a fulfilling home life.
Early Childhood Education and Childcare is provided for children from infancy through five years of age in the Educational Wing of Grace United Methodist Church. Before and After School Care and a Summer Camp Program are designed for elementary school-age children. A large playground area is available for outdoor activities, and an All Purpose Room/Gymnasium for indoor fun and games. Volunteers, presentations, and field trips integrate our program with the community.
We are open year-round from 6:30 am – 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included in the price of tuition. Transportation is provided to the Hershey Elementary Schools and to the Nye and South Hanover Elementary Schools in Lower Dauphin School District.
Our curriculum is child-oriented and age-appropriate. All interests are explored…from Dinosaurs to Disciples, Finger plays to Fishers of Men, Nature Walks to Noah, Crazy Hat Days to Creation, Gardening to Goliath, Music Makers to Moses, Snakes and Toads to Solomon, Native Americans to the Nativity… through fun, meaningful, and exciting learning opportunities for all.
