Chicken BBQ and Car Wash Fundraiser is Saturday, May 16th. The car wash runs from 8:30am until 1pm. Purchase your chicken bbq tickets from one of our Youth. Take home a delicious dinner of half a chicken, baked potato, applesauce and roll – all for only $8. Chicken will be ready on the 16th by 9am, with presold tickets guaranteed until noon.

Volunteer Opportunity – Over the last 5 years, a very dedicated group of ladies have been covering laundry duty for the Warren Family. Jen Warren is battling ALS and unable to do many household chores. We are looking for a few more individuals to help monthly, or when schedules permit. Please contact Colette Cocco at coccohome@comcast.net for more information.

Ladies! Ladies! Come and join us on Wednesday, May 13th for a day out to Meadowbrook Gourds. We have arranged a private tour of the factory then a fun time decorating a gourd vase! After we nudge our artistic sides, we will nudge our taste buds with lunch out before heading back to the church. Please sign-up at the Welcome Center. We’ll be leaving Grace at 9am and are looking forward to sharing the day with you.

Do you have old computer equipment that you are looking to discard?  If so, gather up any (functional or nonfunctional) computers, printers or accessories and bring them to Grace between Friday, May 8th and Thursday, May 14th. All donations should be placed in the designated “drop-off area” in the All-Purpose Room Lobby.   Friday, May 15th at 9am, the donations will be gathered, loaded and delivered to Mission Central. After cleaning and refurbishing, Mission Central’s Computer Ministry donates them to non-profit ministries and organizations that cannot afford to purchase new computer equipment.

Have you registered yet for the Hummelstown Hunger Run/Walk on Saturday, May 16th.  Proceeds benefit the Food Pantry.  To register, volunteer, or for more info, please visit us at http://htownhungerrun.wix. com/hummelstown5K, or call Jill Osevala at 566-3597.

Please come out on Tuesday, May 12th and support Penn State’s premier a cappella group, The Pennharmonics. The group recently competed in the semi-finals of the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) competition. Admission is free.
